Event Description


We will gather together to talk about helping each other to be okay or being with each other when we are not okay. It is a neighbor to neighbor conversation about mental well being without the performative pressure to act like all is well. You can be well when all is not well.

Speakers:

Dr. Stormy Miller Sabia (She/Her) is Director of Student Services at College of Marin where she provides leadership and support in accessibility and mental health. She has served as social worker, counselor, and community advocate in California Community Colleges and non-profit settings.

 

Maralisia Mack is the founder of Care Marin, a certified MediCal Peer Support Specialist and a support group facilitator for the National Alliance for Mental Illness. She also serves as a mental health advocate for Marin City Residents through First Missionary Baptist Church Advocacy Team.

 

Nicole Gardner is the director of the Gardner Foundation Community Advocate. She is a Certified Peer Support Specialist and a gun violence and justice activist.
